Last updated: June 3, 2026
At Shoreline Auto Glass, we stand behind the quality of our work. We take pride in providing safe, professional auto glass installation and service.
Lifetime Workmanship Warranty
Shoreline Auto Glass provides a lifetime workmanship warranty on all auto glass installations performed by our company. This warranty remains in effect for as long as the original customer owns the vehicle.
If there is a covered workmanship issue, Shoreline Auto Glass will stand behind the installation and make it right under this warranty.
This warranty is not transferable and does not apply to any future owners of the vehicle.
What Is Covered
Our lifetime workmanship warranty covers installation-related issues caused by workmanship, including but not limited to:
- Water leaks related to the installation.
- Air leaks or wind noise related to the installation.
- Improper seal or bonding related to the installation.
- Other workmanship-related installation concerns.
If an issue is determined to be related to the workmanship of the installation performed by Shoreline Auto Glass, we will inspect the vehicle and correct the issue at no charge to the customer.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage to the glass after installation, including but not limited to:
- Rock chips.
- Cracks.
- Impact damage.
- Stress cracks not related to installation workmanship.
- Vandalism.
- Collision damage.
- Damage caused by improper use, neglect, or unrelated vehicle issues.
Damage to the glass after installation is the responsibility of the vehicle owner and is not covered under this workmanship warranty.
Chip Repair Disclaimer
Chip repairs are not intended to be a complete cosmetic solution. The primary purpose of a chip repair is to repair the damage and help preserve the structural integrity of the glass.
In some cases, through no fault of the repair technician, the damaged area may become larger during the repair process and require a windshield replacement. These instances are not covered by the workmanship warranty. In this event, the cost of the chip repair may be applied toward a windshield replacement performed by Shoreline Auto Glass.
Warranty Limitations
This warranty applies only to workmanship performed by Shoreline Auto Glass. It does not cover issues caused by:
- Pre-existing or hidden rust, corrosion, pinch weld damage, frame damage, body damage, or structural issues, including damage discovered after glass removal.
- Prior improper repairs or installations by another company.
- Vehicle modifications.
- Accidents, impacts, or environmental damage.
- Failure to follow safe drive-away time or aftercare instructions.
ADAS And Recalibration Limitations
Advanced driver assistance systems are not a replacement for safe driving. You are responsible for the safe operation of your vehicle at all times.
ADAS recalibration needs and results can be affected by manufacturer procedures, windshield replacement, collision damage, wheel alignment, suspension work, disconnection or removal of cameras or sensors, vehicle modifications, and other recalibration events. If your vehicle experiences a collision, alignment change, windshield replacement, camera or sensor removal, or another manufacturer-defined recalibration event, the vehicle may need to be recalibrated again.
Any vehicle modifications or conditions that differ from the manufacturer's original specifications may cause advanced safety systems not to function as intended.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shoreline Auto Glass is not responsible for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages related to a warranty claim, including loss of use, lost time, missed work, rental vehicle costs, towing, storage, or other costs not directly required to correct a covered workmanship issue.
Warranty Claims
Customers who believe they have a workmanship-related issue should contact Shoreline Auto Glass to schedule an inspection. Shoreline Auto Glass reserves the right to inspect the vehicle and determine whether the issue is covered under this warranty.
Customers should notify Shoreline Auto Glass within 30 days of discovering a potential workmanship issue. Shoreline Auto Glass is not responsible for additional damage, added costs, or related issues caused by a delay in notifying us after discovery of the issue.
